PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of calculating a combination of primary colors and a level of the gradation of each primary color for accurately expressing colors of a signal input to a device the relative spectral characteristics of which changes with a change in the intensity of the primary colors. SOLUTION: The image processor discriminates whether or not a small region includes three stimulus values corresponding to a device signal value input to the region sequentially from the small region closer to the original by using the divided division region (a hexahedron or a tetrahedron whose apex is the origin) in a color space expressible by each primary color, and calculates the level of the gradation of each primary color when the three stimulus values corresponding to the input device signal value are output at a point of time when the region including the three stimulus values is discriminated.
