PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for distributing mobile terminal model information whereby edit processing can be applied to a Web page in response to types of site information of contents. SOLUTION: In the system for distributing mobile terminal model information comprising: a carrier site server 10 for managing model information unique to models of mobile terminals 8; a whole model information DB 6 for storing the model information as a whole model information file; a model information management server 5 for managing the whole model information DB 6; and the Web server 1 including Web contents or the like, the model information management server 5 inquires of the carrier site server 10 about new model information, edits the model information acquired by the inquiry according to a distribution form in response to types of site information of the Web contents of the Web sever for distributing the Web contents, stores the result to the whole model information DB 6, and distributes the model information to a concerned mobile terminal 8.
