PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board antenna, having flexibility and attaining further size reduction and low-profile, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: Metallic wires 2 for forming a radio wave reception section and a thin film, made of a material whose specific dielectric constant, is greater than the 1 and covering the metallic wires are provided on a flexible insulation board 1 to form the board antenna, wherein the thin film 3 is formed by the aerosol deposition method.
