PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing box for electric and electronic appliances and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the space for storing therein appliances can be made large, and the appliances present in its inside can be protected surely from the vibration caused by any earthquake, and further, to provide its manufacturing cost is also made low. SOLUTION: In the storing box for electric and electronic appliances, visco-elastic members 6 are disposed respectively on the bottom surface and the ceiling surface of an outside box 1, and plate-form or frame-form rail supporting bodies 10 are attached to these visco-elastic members 6, and further, appliance attaching rails 11 are interposed fixedly between the upper and lower rail supporting bodies 10, 10. Hereupon, the visco-elastic members 6 can be disposed in the broadening portions 5 of the inner side of frames, and the elastic characteristics of the visco-elastic members 6 of the ceiling-surface side are made softer preferably than the ones of the visco-elastic members 6 of the bottom-surface side.
