PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for realizing a security system which is high in the degree of freedom. SOLUTION: This monitoring device is provided with a monitoring camera 1, a sensor means 2 for outputting an abnormality signal when detecting abnormality and a control part 3 for operating the monitoring camera 1 to acquire an image when receiving the abnormality signal of the sensor means 2. The control part 3 is able to output a control signal to a plurality of terminals 37a, 37b, 37c and 37d in response to the input of the abnormality signal of the sensor means 2, and the output propriety of the control signal to the respective terminals 37a, 37b, 37c and 37d is made selectable.
