PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient resistant strength to earth pressure without deterioration in ventilation performance, lighting performance and openness as a dry area of a basement with maximizing the effective area available for multipurpose application such as gardening, etc. SOLUTION: Three wall structures each consisting of core steel frames 5a with steel plates 6 fixed to their external surfaces are connected in a U-shape in plan in the process of manufacture at a plant. Shape steel (channel) 12 in a top-rail shape with sufficient bending strength to withstand earth pressure is fixed on the upper ends of the wall structure 11A, 11B and 11B made of core steel frames 5a forming the dry area unit 4.
