PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull handle which facilitates opening and closing of a sliding door and improves safety upon closing of the sliding door. SOLUTION: A recess 2 is formed in the sliding door 1. A linearly protruding handgrip member 3 extending in a direction perpendicular to an opening/closing direction X of the sliding door 1 and parallel to a surface of the sliding door 1 is formed in the space of the recess 2. A space 4 is formed in each of the two sides, in the opening/closing direction X of the sliding door 1, of the handgrip member 3 for putting finger tips therein. In another embodiment, a space 7 is formed between a recess bottom face 6 and the handgrip member 3 for putting the finger tips therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
