Snow shovel with self sharpening shovel blade, and process for its manufacture

The shovel has a shovel blade (S) that is made of plastic and has reinforcements or stampings (V) which run in direction of the shovel. A body (K) is arranged in an area of depleted edge of the shovel blade. The body is fixedly bonded with the shovel blade through spray coating. The body is freely grounded during usage of the snow shovel and is formed as a plate with recesses or elevations. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a snow shovel.
