A device and a method for learning a multiplication table is provided to enable a user to continuously learn the multiplication table, while the user carries the device which is shaped in a famous character. A substrate has a sound memory storing sound data of a multiplication table, a loudspeaker, and a switch operation unit. A power switch(11) switching a power source of the substrate and a following switch(13) outputting a sound output from the loudspeaker in sequence are mounted on the eye portions of a character switch(10). A number of speaker through-holes(15) are formed on the nose portion of the character switch, and a number of multiplication table switches(16) are mounted around the mouth portion of the character switch. A character power unit(20) is electrically connected to the substrate. |
