METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STACK TYPE ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

A method for manufacturing a stack type electric double layer capacitor is provided to simplify a manufacturing process thereof without performing an accurate alignment operation required in a cell stacking process. A plurality of polarizing electrodes are formed on a current collector film. A gasket is installed to surround a periphery of each of the polarizing electrodes. Two intermediate products are arranged opposite to each other at both sides of a separator. The gaskets are fused by heat in order to integrate the intermediate products. The current collector crosses the current collector film and the gaskets between adjacent separators in order to form a plurality of basic cell arrays(35).
