A film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the consumption of materials by forming a support unit supporting various holes by a cover film without forming a separate support unit for a sprocket hole. The film(210) is composed of a base film(202); a metal layer(201) formed on the base film; and a cover film(204) formed at the back side of the base film. The cover film is kept at both edges of the base film with removing a central portion. An adhesive layer(203) is formed between the cover film and the base film, adhered on the cover film, and stuck to the base film. The width of an effective area formed with patterns of the base film is narrower than the width of the base film.
