OPTICAL SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of selecting either of one optical signal processing apparatus and the other optical signal processing apparatus independently of a fiber channel HUB and a fiber channel switch which are externally mounted and decreasing the number of optical communication input output terminals and the number of components of an optical signal conversion element in comparison with the case of configuring a switch function for optical communication with another single component.

SOLUTION: Each of the optical signal processing apparatuses includes: a first port 1 for optical communication input output connected to a fiber channel of a first system; a second 2 port for optical communication input output connected to a fiber channel of a second system; and a switch circuit array 5 for optical communication connected to the first and second ports 1, 2 for selecting the fiber channel of the first or second system.
