PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of simply providing a camera control system at a low cost. SOLUTION: A fundamental frequency generating section incorporated into a CCU (camera control unit) and a camera head for configuring the camera control system is provided with: an oscillation section 212 for generating a signal with a frequency F(MHz); and an oscillation section 213 for generating a signal with a frequency F/1.001 (MHz), and a switch 214 is switched in accordance with standards such as the NTSC and the PAL to supply the signal generated by the oscillation section 212 or 213 to a PLL circuit 211 as a signal with a fundamental frequency.
