PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device of microcomputer input capable of easily detecting trouble occurrence such as disconnection or a short circuit, safe even for vague operation and consuming small power. SOLUTION: This switching device 10 comprises: a selection switch 12 equipped with an operation electrode 16, a neutral electrode 17, a release electrode 18 and a brush 19 selectively connected to the electrodes; a wake-up power source part 13 for supplying power in waking up; a sleep power source part 14 for supplying power in sleeping and waking up; a wake-up resistor R1 between the wake-up power source part 13 and the brush 19; a first sleep resistor R5 between the sleep power source part 14 and the neutral electrode 17; a second sleep resistor R4 located between the sleep power source part 14 and the brush 19 and having a high resistance value; a release resistor R2 and an operation resistor R3 interlaid between the release electrode 18 and the operation electrode 16, and the grounding electrode E, respectively; and a conductive wire 20 connecting the brush 19 to a microcomputer port 11.
