PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for metal plate coating by forming a polysilazane coating with enough thickness without generating any crack and thereby having enough withstanding voltage, and components for a flat panel display such as a barrier rib as well as a manufacturing method of the same using the material. SOLUTION: Fine particles 1 and fine particles 2 are dispersed in a solvent of polysilazane solution, which is coated on a metal plate as a material for forming insulation coating. Two kinds of fine particles 1 (with a diameter of D2), 2 (with a diameter of D2) satisfying a relation of: D2≤(√2-1)×D1 are selected, and are dispersed in a solvent of polysilazane solution, which is then coated on a metal plate as a material for forming an insulation coating film to find out that a thickness of the polysilazane itself filled between the fine particles gets thicker and an electric insulating silica film with a larger thickness is realized without any crack.
