PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device contrived to eliminate trouble caused with the restraint of the camera shake of the photographing device. SOLUTION: The photographing device to take a photograph by catching object light is equipped with a housing, and a cable release having a head part equipped with a release button and a cable to transmit depressing operation of the release button between the head part and the inside of the housing. The housing is equipped with a fixed part where the head part is attachably/detachably fixed, and the cable release functions also as a strap while the head part is fixed in the fixed part.
