PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner satisfying all required performances of low temperature fixability, high temperature offset resistance, pulverizing property and wax dispersibility. SOLUTION: The resin composition for toner comprises a vinyl polymer composition (A) containing a fatty acid ester having a branched structure and a polyester polymer (B). The toner contains the above resin composition for toner. In particular, the vinyl polymer composition (A) is obtained by suspension polymerization of vinyl monomers in the presence of a fatty acid ester having a branched structure.
