PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus where a plurality of optical filters are switched by rotating a filter fixing member where the plurality of optical filters are circularly arranged, and which easily and optimally decides a stop position where the filter fixing member is stopped when switching the optical filters. SOLUTION: A control part 102 controls a motor 103 for driving and rotating a filter disk (filter fixing member) in accordance with an angle value detected by an angle value detection part 104 and also decides the stop position where the filter disk is stopped when switching the optical filters on the basis of the angle value obtained when the angle value detected by the angle value detection part 104 is not changed.
