PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall construction capable of reducing a danger of falling of sandwich panels installed as the wall backing as a result of a possible disengagement of the sandwich panels from the framework. SOLUTION: A sandwich panel 4 is made by filling a core material 3 between a pair of metal skins 1 and 2 facing each other. A stud 7 is built between columns 6 in a wooden framework 5. An outer peripheral portion 4a of the sandwich panel 4 of the framework 5 is fixed with fixing screws 9.
