PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame material being a nature-friendly material and capable of reducing its cost and weight. SOLUTION: This door frame material 21 is constituted by forming a core material 27 provided with a vertical sash 25 and a horizontal sash 26 made of a wooden strength member for fixing a frame main body in the inside of the frame main body 24 constituted by nipping and holding a pair of horizontal frame materials 23 in both end parts 22a of a vertical frame material 22 made of a pair of long materials having rectangular cross section. One set of vertical sashes 25 is provided between the pair of horizontal frame materials 23, and three sets of horizontal sashes 26 are provided between the vertical frame material 22 on one side and the vertical sash 25. Both faces of the core material are blocked by a lid material 28, and the whole periphery (except a recessed part 30) in the longitudinal direction of the lid material including the core material 27 is integrally covered with a wrapping material 29 to form a door frame material main body 21a. The recessed part 30 passing through the lid material 28 and being continuous in the longitudinal direction at such depth that reaches the vertical sash 25 and the pair of horizontal frame materials 23 is formed in the door frame material main body 21a, and a door stop 31 is inserted and fixed in the recessed part 30.
