PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for driving a cast-in-place pile, which enables construction to be performed even in a narrow working space, while maintaining an in-service state of a tank, and which requires only a short construction period and a low cost. SOLUTION: In this construction method for driving the cast-in-place pile, a small-diameter excavating rod 5, where widening cutter blades 7 are radially provided, is formed on the outer periphery of its leading end; a small-diameter excavated hole 9 is excavated in the ground 4 by human power while bentonite slurry 12 is jetted from a leading end of the excavating rod 5; after that, the excavating rod 5 is pulled out from the excavated hole 9; a casing 14 with a lager diameter than that of the excavating rod 5 is erected in the excavated hole 9 while jet water is emitted from a leading end of an injection rod 16 which is inserted into the casing 14; subsequently, mortar 19 is placed in the casing 14 in water; a core material 20 is inserted into the mortar 19; and thereafter, the casing 14 is pulled out.
