PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten lead time by handling and transferring a coil by a simple bundling at handling and transferring the coil, and to provide a coil handling and transferring method by which the coil is sent to a consumer in a normal packing style even if the coil is transferred by stacking in a ship or the like. SOLUTION: The method using a transferring coil (hereinafter, referred to as "simple packed coil" ) in which at least two vertical bands are applied on the coil wound on a coiler, comprises: a banding and transferring step in which at least two vertical bands are applied to the coil wound on the coiler and immediately the coil is transferred to a temporary depot yard; a step to store the coil at the temporary depot yard; and a step to stack the stored coil using a shock absorbing material to transfer.
