PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fetch a prescribed number of balls for one game into the interior of a machine in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This ball fetching device of a game machine for fetching the prescribed number of balls out of balls stored in an upper tray into the machine for every game is provided with a ball feed path part 32 formed with a first path 32B and a second path 32C for aligning the balls introduced from the upper tray into two lines, a first fetching means and a second fetching means disposed in the respective downstream positions of the first path 32B and the second path 32C, constituting downstream ends filled with the prescribed number of balls or more when the balls are aligned in the both paths, and sequentially fetching the balls reaching the respective downstream ends, and a detecting sensor detecting the balls sequentially fetched by the first fetching means and the second fetching means.
