PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for games which enables the returning of a recording medium to be issued without the registration of personal information to a possessor as well by specifying the recording medium identifying information when lost to discover it used in a device for games. SOLUTION: The machine number and the time of application are input into a card searching screen (SA00) and when a searching button is selected, a corresponding device ID is specified from the application history (SA01). When the history immediately before the input time belongs to neither the information on the completion of application nor the discharge information out of the application history on a table of the device ID, a card ID contained in the history immediately before the start of the game is specified (SA04). It is judged whether the specified card ID matches the card ID of the card DB used under the conditions that the information on the completion of application and the information on the completion of settlement is not stored after the input time for the specified card ID (SA07) and when both match, the machine number is reported.
