PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with various digital broadcasting video recording and reproducing even if PSI(program Specific Information) and SI (Service Information) are unknown. SOLUTION: A management region of an information recording medium used for digital video recording has management information (HR_SFIxx.IFO) for each broadcasting station, while the region has management information of a type (TYPE_B) not specifying the broadcasting station. Information (ESOB_TY:b12="1" or invalid value of information of PSI, SI) indicating invalidity of information (PSI, SI) about broadcasting contents is included in the management information (ESOB_TY) of a type (TYPE_B) not specifying the broadcasting station.
