An electrically driven wheel (1) includes a wheel disc (100) and a wheel hub (200); an in-wheel motor (400) mounted within the wheel disc (100) to drive the wheel disc (100) and the wheel hub (200) or to be driven by the wheel disc (100) and the wheel hub (200); a brake rotor (500) and a brake caliper (600) suppressing rotation of the wheel disc (100) and the wheel hub (200) while a vehicle is moving; and a parking lock mechanism (700) provided in the in-wheel motor (400) separately from a brake mechanism formed of the brake rotor (500) and the brake caliper (600). The parking lock mechanism (700) is a band-type brake frictionally engaging a planetary carrier (434) serving as an "output portion" of a "reduction mechanism".
