<p>The invention relates to a door handle escutcheon which is suitable for door handles of the type consisting of a base escutcheon (1) comprising a central hole for the passage of a handle (5) and other holes which surround the central hole and which are used to receive screws for fixing same to the corresponding door. The aforementioned base escutcheon can be coupled to a cover (3) which conceals the heads of the screws. According to the invention, the lateral surface or peripheral edge of the base escutcheon (1) is equipped with a housing for an o-ring seal (2) such that the connection between the cover (3) and the escutcheon (1) is established by means of pressure with the snap fitting of said o-ring seal (2). The invention is characterised in that the aforementioned o-ring seal housing is formed by two parallel rows of non-aligned projections (4) which are disposed peripherally around the escutcheon (1) and between which the o-ring seal (2) is disposed.</p> |
