PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly change the change gear stage of a transmission even when the change of the number of revolutions of an engine during shifting transmission is large, and it is impossible to detect the number of revolutions per minute of a driving shaft.

SOLUTION: In an automobile where an engine, a first motor and a driving shaft are connected to a planetary gear mechanism, and a second motor is connected via a transmission to the driving shaft, when the number of revolutions of the driving shaft cannot be detected during speed change, and an engine revolution deviation ΔNe is a threshold Nref or more (S120, S140, S240), the rotational frequency Nr* for control is set under the consideration of not only the current number of revolutions Ne and the number of revolutions Nm1 of the first motor but also the previous number of revolutions (previous Ne) of the engine and the number of revolutions (previous Nm1) of the first motor (S250). Then, the number of revolutions Nm2* of the second motor after speed change is set by using the number of revolutions Nr* for control and the change gear stage of the transmission is changed according to the synchronization of the number of revolutions Nm2 of the second motor.
