<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stall of an engine during sudden deceleration when a vehicle with an E-iVT travels in an E-iVT mode. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid vehicle, the revolving speed of the engine 2, which is higher than a stall limit revolving speed of the engine 2 and which is not lower than the stall limit revolving speed even when the rotating speed of an output gear lowers during sudden deceleration, is set as a lower limit value for the revolving speed of the engine 2. At least one of the engine 2, a first motor generator 3 and a second motor generator 4 is controlled so that the revolving speed of the engine 2 is higher than the lower limit value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
