<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermented tea of Ilex latifolia Thunb having an improved flavor of the tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb in which Chinese efficacy is known. <P>SOLUTION: The fermented tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb is obtained by carrying out lactic acid fermentation of the tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb. An extract from the fermented tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb is obtained by decocting the fermented tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb. Furthermore, the fermented tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb is produced by a method for production comprising a step of carrying out half fermentation of a leaf and/or a bud of the Ilex latifolia Thunb of the family Aquifoliaceae and producing the tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb and a step of subjecting the tea of the Ilex latifolia Thunb obtained in the step to the lactic acid fermentation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
