METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROJECTING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of displaying or projecting a high-quality moving picture.

SOLUTION: The projection system includes a projection system generating a projection beam provided with a continuous color part. The projection beam is guided to a light modulation means based on a light valve. The light modulation means can modulate the projection beam to have image information on an image in which the projection beam impinging thereon is displayed. The image is refreshed after an image frame time tframe. The emission from the light modulation means generating the image is substantially performed in a first section of the image frame time tframe. Accordingly, the display of a high-speed moving picture is improved.
