<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treating device capable of simultaneously removing dioxins, NOx and SOx contained in an exhaust gas without decreasing the performances in an electron beam irradiation, and therefore capable of simplifying the process and saving energy, and an exhaust gas treating method. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treating device is provided with a first filter type dust collector (3) collecting particles of soot contained in the exhaust gas, an electron beam irradiation device (4) radiating electron beam for decomposing nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides and organic halogen compounds contained in the exhaust gas which is dust-collected in the first filter type dust collector (3) and a second filter type dust collector (5)collecting the decomposed materials generated by the electron beam irradiation device (4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
