PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the weight of a whole engine, further to improve the heat radiation performance, to reduce the combustion loss of lubricating oil and the mechanical loss, as well as to reduce the manufacturing cost and to improve the productivity, and further to improve the stability and the durability of the motion for the long term use. SOLUTION: In the rotary engine, a rotary housing 2 in the axial direction of a rotary shaft 4 is partitioned to a compression chamber 2c and a combustion chamber 2b, and a rotor 3 comprises a compression rotor 3c and a combustion rotor 3b. The compression rotor 3c and the combustion rotor 3b are stored in a compression chamber Cc and a combustion chamber Cb respectively so as to provide a compression mechanism Mc for sucking fuel Fu by the rotation of the compression rotor 3c. A combustion mechanism Mb rotates the combustion rotor 3b by exploding the fuel Fu compressed by the compression mechanism Mc, and exhaustes the exhaust gas Fe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
