摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master/slave type autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle capable of cruising a long distance and submerging deeply. SOLUTION: The master/slave type autonomous underwater vehicle system has a master underwater vehicle 1 which has a master connection part 11 and autonomously cruises under the water, and a slave underwater vehicle 2 which has a slave connection part 21 and separated from the master underwater vehicle 1 to autonomously cruise under the water. The master underwater vehicle 1 cruises at a predetermined speed, in a predetermined direction, and at a predetermined depth, responding to a connection preparation signal transmitted from the slave underwater vehicle 2. The slave underwater vehicle 2 transmits the connection preparation signal to push against the slave connection part 21 against the master connection part 11 of the master underwater vehicle 1 which is cruising at the predetermined speed, in the predetermined direction, and at the predetermined depth, to detachably connect the slave connection part 21 with the main connection part 11.
