PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter unit capable of completely and easily mounting a PVC sheet for covering an air outlet of the filter unit in the sterilization or fumigation work of a clean room. SOLUTION: In the filter unit comprising a casing 2 formed with an air inlet 3 on an upper wall-side and the air outlet at a lower surface and a high-performance filter 10, a guard-like backing plate 12 that contacts a ceiling 13 is integrally provided on the sidewall of the casing 2 to form a casing tip section 14, and one end of a cylindrical plate 16 formed so as to enclose the periphery of the casing 2 until it contacts the plate 12 is connected to one side of a porous plate 19 through a hinge and the other and a porous plate mounting frame 17 with the side detachably mounted are fixed, thereby enabling the system to simply and easily mount the sheet and definitely conduct sealing.
