Toothed wheel which, in the direction of its turning axis, consists of a first and second corresponding toothed wheel (1a,1b). The toothed wheels can be turned relative to one another around a common turning axis (2) in their unmounted state. In their mounted state, they can be fastened together with a fastening element using force and/or a positive connection against torsion. The gauge of at least one wheel is dimensioned to correspond with the maximum service loading.
