An LCD is provided to improve an image quality by removing flicker by driving pixels that are driven in a line inversion method using a dot inversion method. A liquid crystal panel(102) includes pixels formed in intersections between a plurality of gate lines(GL1~GLn+1) and a plurality of gate lines(DL1~DLm), respectively. The pixels include tin film transistors connected in a zigzag pattern using each gate line as a reference one. A liquid crystal panel drive unit supplies a voltage to the pixels in a line inversion method where a polarity is inversed in every 1/2 horizontal period(1/2H) to drive the pixels in a dot inversion method. Odd pixels of the pixels of an n horizontal line are connected to an n gate line(GLn), and even pixels are connected to an n+1 gate line(GLn+1). Alternatively, the even pixels of the pixels of the n horizontal line are connected to the n gate line, and the odd pixels are connected to the n+1 gate line. |
