<p>An optical pickup unit which can suppress heat influence on an optical element even when a heat source, such as a laser driver, is arranged close to the optical element. The optical pickup unit (9) is provided with a beam splitter (12) and a collimating lens (13) at positions opposing the laser driver (17). In a space (24) formed by the laser driver (17), the beam splitter (12) and the collimating lens (13), a heat insulating sheet (18) is arranged on the side of the laser driver (17), and a heat conducting sheet (19) is arranged on the sides of the beam splitter (12) and the collimating lens (13).</p> |
