A method for editing a menu list in a mobile communication terminal is provided to easily manage a menu list by arranging frequently used or important items at start positions in the menu list through editing an arrangement order of the menu list. A method for editing a menu list in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following several steps. Menu items are displayed in a list type according to a user's menu selection(S10). It is sensed whether a scroll key for scrolling a screen is pushed(S12). It is checked whether pushing the scroll key is for editing the menu list by a preset scroll key inputting scheme(S14). In case that pushing the scroll key is for editing the menu list, selected items are moved to start positioned or end positions according to a selected direction of the scroll key such that the menu list is rearranged(S20).
