<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus of a hybrid type which is small (compact) and low in cost by reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A full-color image forming apparatus 100 includes a cradle 1a on which two developing units 31a and 31b are placed at the same time, and a cradle 1b on which two developing units 31c and 31d are placed at the same time. The cradle 1a is constituted so as to be movable by a moving means 70a between a first position P1 where the two developing units 31a and 31b are attached or detached and a second position P2 where the developing units 31a and 31b are positioned to an image carrier drum 22a. Similarly, the cradle 1b is constituted so as to be movable by a moving means 70b between a first position P1 where the two developing units 31d and 31d are attached or detached and a second position P2 where the developing units 31c and 31d are positioned to an image carrier drum 22b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
