<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for generating a sufficient amount of hydrogen with good efficiency, safety and good controllability and to provide a method and a system for generating electrochemical energy. <P>SOLUTION: A water pouring pipe 3 introduced from a water storage chamber 2 is inserted in a storage chamber 1 (housing portion) to house the mixed powder 7 of a hydride powder and an acid matter powder. Hydrogen (H<SB>2</SB>) generated by pouring water in the storage chamber 1 is automatically sent to a fuel cell 4 (an electrochemical device) through a hydrogen supplying pipe 6 by its inner pressure rising. A water storage 5 to recover generated water (H<SB>2</SB>O) is set at the oxygen electrode side of the fuel cell 4 and then water is returned from the water storage 5 to the water storage chamber 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
