<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stick a sealing material at a specified adhesive strength regardless of the degree of weathering of a glass bottle by making the adhesive strength of the sealing material after weathering almost the same as the adhesive strength before weathering. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for sealing the glass bottle which sticks the sealing material on the mouth part of the glass bottle with a heat softening adhesive, after the top face of the mouth part of the glass bottle is coated with a coating liquid containing pectin, the sealing material is stuck. In comparison with an untreated glass bottle which is not coated with this coating, as the sealing strength before weathering is almost unchanged, and the sealing strength after weathering is also almost unchanged from the sealing strength before weathering, it becomes possible to stick the sealing material by a specified strength (a strength which makes unsealing easy and has no fear of breaking the sealing) and it becomes completely unnecessary to do a troublesome work for controlling the degree of weathering of the glass bottle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
