<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-sensible chromogenic composition, which can form a coating film without employing an organic solvent, and an active energy ray-sensitive chromogenic sheet material made of the composition. <P>SOLUTION: In order to obtain this photochromogenic composition, an onium salt base optical acid generator generating an acid through the action of light and a coloring matter precursor developing a color through the action of the acid, both of which are solids insoluble or hard soluble in water, are dispersed in a finely divided powder in the aqueous solution of a water-soluble resin in the presence or non-presence of a solid sensitizer, which spectrally sensitizes the acid generator, when necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
