<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit capable of diagnosing a trouble under an operation of the integrated circuit, capable of continuing a diagnostic operation while responding to an access even when accessed from another circuit under the diagnosis, and capable of interrupting properly the diagnostic operation to be restored to a condition before the diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: This integrated circuit having a diagnostic circuit 2 of a logical circuit 1 has a register 54 for holding an internal condition of the logical circuit 1, and a restoration circuit 4 capable of inputting the internal condition held by the register 54 into the logical circuit 1. The integrated circuit is constituted to be switched between a usual operation and the diagnostic operation, holds the internal condition of the logical circuit 1, during shift from the usual operation to the diagnostic operation, to be brought into the diagnostic operation, responds to the access to the integrated circuit under the diagnostic operation, by the resister 54, and restores the internal condition held in the register 54 to the logical circuit 1 by the restoration circuit 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
