<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easy, accurate and highly reproducible detection of gene polymorphism of cytochrome P450 (CYP), and a primer set and a kit for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for detecting at least one kind of gene polymorphism of cytochrome P450 3A4 gene and/or 3A5 gene using a primer common to wild type and variant type and a primer for wild-type detection and/or a primer for polymorphism detection.
