<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book with an IC tag featuring that the IC tag is free from damage during use, then can be simply manufactured without selecting a bookbinding type, and can be practically used from a viewpoint of cost. <P>SOLUTION: This book with a tag is of such a structure that a srap-like IC tag inlet 10 is attached to the cover part 2a of a cover 2, a specific page or a bound postcard in a top/bottom direction. The top/bottom direction is a direction which is orthogonal to a direction where a page curves when the book is turned over manually. Since an external force can hardly be applied to the IC tag inlet 10 with a small width during handling the book, an IC chip or an antenna joint does not break. Further, the IC tag inlet 10 is attached to the cover part 2a of the cover 2, the specific page or the bound postcard, and thus these constituent members have only to be bound together, regardless of whatever bookbinding style may be used.
