<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption and cutting time in a paper processing device having a paper cutting function. <P>SOLUTION: The paper processing device comprises a paper carry-in opening 55, a center-binding compile tray 21 which aligns and houses a plurality of paper sheets carried in from the paper carry-in opening 55, a rotary cutter unit 30 which cuts a center-bent paper sheet bundle housed in the center-binding compile tray 21. The rotary cutter unit 30 cuts the paper sheet bundle by moving a round edge from one end of a direction orthogonal to the paper transporting direction in the direction orthogonal to the paper transporting direction on a paper conveyance path, and cuts the paper sheet bundle by a cutting condition which is determined based on the electric power state of a paper processing apparatus 10 and an image formation apparatus 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
