<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering controlling device for a vehicle which can satisfy both of the restoring force characteristic a steering wheel and the easiness to grasp the neutral position thereof regardless of angular steering speed. <P>SOLUTION: This steering controlling device for the vehicle imparts a steering reaction force in response to a angular steering speed of a steering wheel 6. The steering controlling device for the vehicle is equipped with a turning state quantity detecting means (a rudder angle sensor 1) and a controller 19. In this case, the turning state quantity detecting means detects the turning state quantity (the steering angleθ) of the vehicle. The controller 19 makes the steering reaction force in response to the angular steering speed dθ/dt a constant value Kg regardless of the angular steering speed dθ/dt in a region in which the angular steering speed dθ/dt exceeds a specified value, and sets the constant value Kg to be a larger value as the turning state quantity (steering angleθ) becomes larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
