PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved coating for an electric/electronic connector of a contact or a terminal or the like used in automotive applications. SOLUTION: The two-component coating of tin-silver includes over 1.0 wt.% to about 20 wt.%, more preferably 2.0 wt.% to 15wt.%, most preferably 3.0 wt.% to 10 wt.% silver and the balance essentially tin.
