PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of transferring image data arrived in a facsimile terminal handled as a fixed station to a mobile terminal used in a mobile station. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes a main control section 11 that includes a facsimile transmission/reception function and an IP communication function by LAN connection and carries out control of extracting a keyword from a received image through character recognition and transferring the extracted keyword as mail main text.
